Job summary

robusta seeks an Application Architect to define and govern the application architecture across enterprise environments in a banking context. You will develop current-state and target-state landscapes, set standards, and define integration patterns.

The role collaborates with Solution and Enterprise Architects, Security, Data, Infrastructure, and development teams to support modernization, rationalization, and transformation initiatives in a SAMA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Application Architecture, Solution Architecture, or related roles.
• Banking/financial services experience preferred.
• Experience in a SAMA-regulated environment an advantage.
• Strong understanding of API, integration, and distributed architectures.
• Experience with modernization, rationalization, and transformation programs.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and governance.
• TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architecture, or similar certification is preferred.

• Define and maintain the Application Architecture and landscape.
• Develop current-state and target-state architectures.
• Define principles, standards, and guidelines.
• Design components and define their relationships and dependencies.
• Define and maintain integration and API architecture.
• Review and approve designs.
• Support modernization and transformation initiatives.
• Ensure architecture aligns with business capabilities and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain documentation.
