Job summary

Cactus International is seeking an Engineering Manager, Technical Support in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to lead the Projects Engineering team and deliver engineering solutions for long-term contracts and orders. You will drive KPIs, budget, and stakeholder engagement across client operations.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree with extensive Oil & Gas experience, including design/engineering management and field or manufacturing exposure in international contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering).
• 10+ years in Oil & Gas, with 5+ years in Design or Project Engineering Management.
• ≥5 years in Field or Manufacturing operations within an international Surface Wellhead company.
• Familiar with API 6A, API16A, NACE MR0175.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineers and Designers in Projects Engineering to deliver for long-term contracts and orders.
• Provide customer-facing engineering solutions to support operations.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and operational plans for the project engineering department.
• Set priorities, assign work, and monitor progress; provide technical guidance and coaching.

Job Summary: As Engineering Manager, Technical Support, you are responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems in Cactus International Pressure Control business. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Delivering professional engineering work and responsible for the department Budget.

Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Customer-facing engineering role which provides engineering solutions to support customer operations
• Manage a team of Engineers and Designers in the Projects Engineering function, to provide engineering deliverables for long-term contract agreement and separate orders
• Manage a team of engineers to support facility and service operations to ensure key operational performance indicators are met.
• Develops, monitor and drive KPIs and operational plans for project engineering department.
• Assess & monitor team member’s competency and drive training/development plan.
• Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise based upon precedents.
• Engaged in customizing projects to client needs. Conveys technical information both to clients and to colleagues out of other functions.

Education, Training, Experience:

• Have a bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering).
• Have minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry and 5 additional years of experience in Design or Project Engineering Management.
• Have minimum 5 years experience working as Field operations or manufacturing operations in an international Surface Wellhead company.
• Familiar with the relevant Industry Standard: API 6A, API16A, NACE MR0175
• Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated strong ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Have ability to lead programs / projects and ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skill.
