Job summary

Globe 24-7 is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate engineering activities for critical projects in Saudi Arabia. You will plan, monitor, and ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and company requirements while guiding technical solutions and deliverables.

You will provide leadership, mentor engineering personnel, manage resources, and align engineering with production and project management.

Qualifications

• Management training or 5–10 years of relevant management experience.
• Qualification as an Electrical or civil Engineer or relevant technical field.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working in international or multicultural organizations.
• Competence or relevant experience in Project Management.
• PSI training, to be completed after employment.
• HSE training for Management, to be completed after employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering activities within the organization.
• Plan and follow up engineering activities according to project and operational requirements.
• Ensure that engineering work and technical solutions comply with applicable standards, specifications and company requirements.
• Ensure the technical quality and accuracy of engineering deliverables and documentation.
• Coordinate engineering resources and priorities according to project needs and deadlines.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and support to engineering personnel.
• Support project planning, execution and follow-up from an engineering perspective.
• Ensure effective coordination between Engineering, Production, Project Management and other relevant departments.
• Identify technical risks, challenges and deviations and ensure appropriate follow-up and corrective actions.
• Support technical problem-solving and decision-making throughout project execution.
• Ensure that technical changes and deviations are appropriately evaluated, documented and communicated.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of engineering.
• Provide technical instructions and direction to engineering personnel.
• Review and evaluate technical solutions, engineering documentation and deliverables.
• Request modifications or corrective actions when engineering work does not meet applicable technical or project requirements.
• Make technical decisions within the responsibilities and authority delegated to the Requirements.
