Job summary

leading-edge seeks a B2 Avionics Technician to support helicopter maintenance and flight-line activities, ensuring fleet availability and safety.

The role performs inspections, assembly, installation, repair, and checks on avionics systems, with on-the-job training provided as required. English proficiency is essential.

Five+ years of helicopter maintenance experience and a Part-66 B2 license are preferred, with familiarity in Cougar/Super Puma platforms.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in helicopter maintenance.
• Five or more years of experience in the aeronautical industry.
• English Proficiency (Advanced Level).
• Advanced Technical Diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of technical documentation.
• Knowledge of Quality Control/QA activities.
• Knowledge of Civil Aviation legislation (international and national).
• Experience on Airbus Helicopters platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Aviation, Safety, Quality, and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
• Comply with Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies, and Regulations
• Work as part of a team to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the helicopter fleet
• Undertake aircraft maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks, quality checks, and completion of documentation
• Perform electrical assembly, integration, modification, system repairs, quality inspections, and functional tests
• Analyze performance and isolate malfunctions of avionic instrument and flight control systems
• Conduct checkouts, inspections, and repairs of avionic instrument and flight control systems
• Ensure all work is recorded and signed off appropriately
• Verify aircraft status, update scheduled tasks, and sign off on aircraft airworthiness
• Train personnel on maintenance manuals, safety directives, and FOD procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
