Job summary

leading-edge is seeking a B1.3-licensed aircraft technician to support helicopter maintenance and flight line activities in a demanding customer environment. You will inspect, repair, replace, and refurbish aircraft components, and perform operational tasks such as daily servicing and refueling.

The role requires five+ years in helicopter maintenance, proficiency with wiring diagrams and technical publications, and hands-on experience with Cougar/Super Puma platforms.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in helicopters maintenance and the aeronautical industry.
• FAA or EASA Part-66 B1.3 licensed aircraft technician.
• Aircraft Maintenance Type Training Course Part 147.
• Experience with Cougar/Super Puma helicopters.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Aviation, Safety, Quality, and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
• Comply with Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies, and Regulations
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet within a customer environment
• Complete daily preventive, corrective, servicing, and routine maintenance to release aircraft for flight
• Ensure all activities are completed on time, on cost, and on quality while maintaining safety requirements
• Conduct operational implementation on the flight line, including daily servicing, refueling, and helicopter towing
• Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications
• Determine repair procedures for defective equipment and components
• Diagnose recurring malfunctions and recommend corrective actions
• Record all work performed on appropriate paperwork and ensure correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials
• Verify aircraft status, perform Release to Service, and ensure aircraft condition is serviceable
• Conduct on-the-job training and train personnel on maintenance manuals, safety directives, and FOD procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
