Job summary

Multilink Management Consultants is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform breakdown, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery in a plastic flexible packaging environment. The role focuses on minimizing downtime and ensuring safe equipment operation, with responsibilities across troubleshooting, calibration, and records management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience in plastic, flexible packaging, printing, extrusion, lamination or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in production machinery.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules and manuals.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore machinery with minimum downtime.
• Inspect equipment, replace defective parts and coordinate spare requirements.
• Perform assigned calibration activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams.
• Follow HSE PPE and 5S standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in production machinery
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules and manuals
• Respond to breakdowns and restore machinery safely with minimum downtime
• Inspect equipment replace defective parts and coordinate spare requirements
• Perform assigned calibration activities
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams
• Follow HSE PPE and 5S standards

RequirementsTechnical

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or related field .
• Hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance
• Experience in plastic, flexible packaging, printing, extrusion, lamination, or similar industries is preferred
• Willingness to work rotating/alternating shifts
• Ability to work in a hands-on industrial environment and under pressure.
