Job summary

CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to maintain and improve electrical systems across our manufacturing facilities, ensuring efficient operations and safety.

You will design, troubleshoot and maintain control systems, read schematics, implement preventative maintenance, ensure compliance with electrical codes, mentor technicians, manage projects, and collaborate with production and other engineering teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (PLCs, VFDs, HMI).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery, production lines, and plant infrastructure.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IEC).
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and production teams to optimize processes and equipment performance.
• Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Train and mentor junior electrical technicians as required.
• Develop and update electrical documentation and operating procedures.
