Job summary

EVA Pharma is seeking an Electrical Systems Section Head to lead the engineering team responsible for the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all electrical utilities and facility systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

You will ensure system integrity, energy efficiency, and uninterrupted support to production while excluding direct responsibility for process equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 8–12 years in electrical engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience in GMP-regulated pharma/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of MV, LV and Low-Current systems.
• Experience with CMMS systems such as Maximo and SAP PM.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical work complies with GMP, GDP, validation requirements, and electrical codes.
• Oversee operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of MV switchgear, transformers, RMUs, and main distribution.
• Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Lead installation, commissioning, modification, and expansion projects for facility and utility electrical systems; review/approve technical specs.
• Ensure reliable electrical supply for HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, air compressors, and vacuum systems.
• Lead RCA for electrical failures and develop mitigation plans, redundancy concepts, and emergency procedures.

Job summary

The Electrical Systems Section Head leads the engineering team responsible for the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all electrical utilities and facility systems—including Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and Low Current (ELV) systems—within aGMP regulatedpharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
The role ensures system integrity, compliance, energy efficiency, and uninterrupted support to production and critical utilities, while excluding direct responsibility forprocessequipment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical workcomplies with: GMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical validation requirements, local and international electrical codes.
• Oversee the operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of:MV switchgear, transformers, RMUs, and main distribution systems
• Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Lead installation, commissioning, modification, and expansion projects for facility and utility electrical systems, review and approve technical specifications.

• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for electrical failures, develop mitigation plans, redundancy concepts, and emergency response procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering(Master’sis a plus).
• 8–12 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, food, or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MV, LV, and Low-Current systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems (Maximo, SAP PM, etc.).
• Proven experience managing projects, contractors, and budgets.
• Strong communicationand leadership skills.
