Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking an Electrical Technician I (Saudi Nationals) to perform day-to-day electrical maintenance on plant systems and equipment. You will adhere to Safety and Quality procedures and liaise with the Electrical Supervisor for work directions and progress reports.

Ideal candidates have extensive Oil & Gas maintenance experience, IECEx certification, and strong knowledge of HV/LV switchgear, protection relays, and motors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
• Holding certification of IECEx to repair explosion proof motors.

Responsibilities

• Execute day to day electrical maintenance activities on all electrical systems, plant, equipment and facilities within the designated area of responsibility.
• Follow safety and quality procedures during maintenance execution.
• Carry out repairing and troubleshooting activities on electrical assets to increase availability and reliability.
• Receive work directions from the Electrical Supervisor and report progress regularly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HV and LV switchgear and control gears, including testing of protection relays and breakers.
