Job summary

CSI Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, to support installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems across projects.

You will read drawings, perform inspections, carry out safety-conscious testing with instruments, trace faults, and help prepare test records. The role requires teamwork with engineers and commissioning staff on major MEP and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma/technical certificate in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Experience in MEP, electrical contracting, testing and commissioning, infrastructure, commercial or industrial projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical installation and testing practices.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, testing, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance activities.
• Assist engineers and commissioning teams during testing and commissioning.
• Carry out electrical testing using appropriate instruments and equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment specs.
• Inspect installations and identify defects or non-conformities.
• Troubleshoot faults and assist in root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and instruments.
• Follow ITPs, method statements and HSE requirements.
