Job summary

A leading construction firm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to manage cost estimation, budgeting, and financial performance for electrical works in construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. Responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities, monitoring costs, and ensuring compliance with standards. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to major projects.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical QS Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for electrical works.
  • Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and tender evaluations.
  • Monitor project costs and control expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Evaluate variations, claims, and subcontractor payment applications.
  • Coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost accuracy.
  • Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, and company standards.
