Job summary

Acwa Power seeks a Plant – Electrical Maintenance technician to execute preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance on plant equipment under supervision, with strict safety adherence. The role covers outage support and overhauling activities, requiring good knowledge of safety practices and environmental considerations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering.
• 4 years in same position or as skilled electrical labor in NOMAC plants.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ISO9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 awareness preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental and health system principles.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, corrective and condition-based maintenance on plant equipment.
• Assist with annual outages and overhaul activities.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Work independently and in teams to complete objectives.
• Operate in non-ideal environments (confined spaces, heights).
• Enforce lockout/tagout, electrical safety and PPE requirements.
• Identify, classify and dispose of waste per guidelines.
• Understand environmental and health impacts of chemicals used.
• Familiar with firefighting equipment and procedures.
• Maintain basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping.
