Job summary

Siemens Energy is looking for an EHS Leader for Grid Technologies Service in Saudi Arabia. You will coach a team of EHS professionals, lead incident investigations, and audit modernization sites to ensure compliance with top safety standards.

You will drive an ambitious EHS program across offices, workshops, and field operations, including high-risk activities, training, and regulatory inspections. A strong regulatory background is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and professional EHS certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience leading EHS teams across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of local Saudi Arabian EHS regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the EHS strategy for GT Service Saudi Arabia with clear objectives and KPIs.
  • Own EHS execution across project sites and field activities nationwide, including high-risk tasks.
  • Ensure safe working conditions across offices, workshops, and warehouses; manage emergency preparedness and health programs.
  • Foster a Zero Harm culture through coaching, safety campaigns, and daily operational integration.
  • Deliver EHS training and ensure certifications and competencies at all levels.
  • Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, audits and regulatory inspections.

How You'll Make An Impact
  • Develop and lead the EHS strategy for GT Service Saudi Arabia, setting objectives, targets, and performance indicators while driving continuous improvement across all operations
  • Own EHS execution across project sites and field service activities nationwide, including oversight of high-risk work such as electrical tasks, HV switching, lifting, confined space entry, and work at height
  • Ensure safe, compliant working conditions across offices, workshops, and warehouses, managing emergency preparedness, fire protection, and occupational health programs
  • Build and sustain a proactive Zero Harm safety culture by coaching managers and field personnel, running safety campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives, and embedding EHS into daily operations
  • Design and deliver EHS training and competency programs, ensuring employees and contractors maintain required certifications and capability across all levels of the organization
  • Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis, and manage a team of three EHS professionals while reporting performance metrics and leading audits and regulatory inspections
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Professional EHS certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or CSP (preferred)
  • 8–10 years of progressive EHS experience within industrial, energy, utilities, construction, or service operations, including exposure to high‑risk field activities
  • Demonstrated experience leading EHS teams and managing EHS performance across multiple sites or locations simultaneously
  • Strong working knowledge of Saudi Arabian EHS regulations alongside international best practices and standards
  • Prior experience in transmission, substations, GIS, transformers, power generation, or a comparable technical/industrial environment is strongly preferred
