Job description

The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate a brand's message and resonate with the target audience. They play a crucial role in developing various design assets across multiple platforms and mediums.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Creation: Develop visually appealing and impactful designs for various marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to print collateral, digital graphics, social media content, website elements, infographics, logos, and advertisements. Ensure that designs are visually engaging, clear, and align with the brand's identity and objectives.
  2. Conceptualization: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience. Generate creative concepts and ideas that effectively communicate the desired message and meet the project goals.
  3. Visual Branding: Apply and maintain brand guidelines to maintain consistency in the brand's visual identity across all design assets. Ensure that designs reflect and promote the brand's values and core messaging.
  4. Design Software and Tools: Utilize design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or similar tools, to create and edit designs. Stay updated with the latest design software and industry trends to enhance design capabilities.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that design and content align harmoniously to achieve the desired communication objectives. Collaborate on creative briefs, providing input and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of overall communication.
  6. Feedback and Revisions: Accept constructive feedback from clients, stakeholders, or team members and implement necessary revisions to designs while maintaining the project's objectives. Strive for continuous improvement and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
  7. Visual Trends and Research: Stay updated with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies. Conduct research on market trends and competitors to ensure the brand remains visually competitive and relevant.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  2. Proven experience as a graphic designer in an agency or corporate setting.
  3. Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or similar tools.
  4. Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design skills and techniques across various mediums.
  5. Solid understanding of design principles, composition, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  6. Familiarity with digital design best practices, web design principles, and file optimization for digital platforms.
  7. Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation for print materials.
  8. Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
  9. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in design execution.
  10. Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  11. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
