Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field (essential).
• Qualified teacher Status or equivalent (essential).
• 2:1 or equivalent (desirable).
• NPQML/CPML or equivalent (desirable).
• Evidence of ability to teach Physics across Grades 6-12 and to deliver IGCSE/A Level (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality Physics teaching and learning.
• Establish a safe and stimulating environment for students.
• Plan, feedback, and teach in line with school procedures.
• Plan, prepare and deliver Physics schemes of work.
• Maintain records of students' progress and statutory documents.
• Conduct termly parent interviews to discuss performance.
• Promote Physics within the school and provide co-curricular activities.
• Liaise with staff and departments to ensure safeguarding and welfare policies.
