Job summary

Care Medical Hospitals in Riyadh seeks a Service Vehicle Driver to render transport services for staff, ensuring safe and timely arrivals.

Duties include delivering products and supplies, transporting specimens and documents, coordinating with departments, and maintaining vehicle pre-operational checks. Reporting to Transportation Supervisor, adherence to vehicle use policies is required. This is an on-site role using company vehicles for business only.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to deliver products, equipment, and supplies to designated locations.
• Deliver specimens, mails, packages and documents to indicated addresses.
• Coordinate with security to transport female employees to shopping areas as scheduled.
• Determine transport needs for hospital staff and approve requests after evaluation.
• Provide transport to King Khalid International Airport for staff traveling on vacation or exit visas.
• Transport female employees to Saudi American and Riyadh Bank when approved.
• Take medical and nursing staff to exam sites during MOH licensure.
• Pre-operational checks on vehicles before scheduled trips (brakes, water, oil, tires, etc.).
• Follow traffic laws and take necessary precautions while performing duties.
• Perform other duties within knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Ensure vehicles are used only for business purposes; violations lead to disciplinary action.
• Personal use restrictions include errands, commuting, or outside business hours.
• Report damage or problems with vehicles promptly.
• Report changes to driver privileges (e.g., license suspension) promptly.
• Always lock company cars and bring vehicles to scheduled maintenance.
• Do not drive under the influence, fatigue, or with medications affecting driving ability.
• No smoking in company vehicles; no leasing or lending of vehicles.
• Do not use a phone or text while driving; no unauthorized drivers unless in emergencies.

Job Summary

Service Vehicle Driver renders transport services to all employee of Care Medical Hospitals in an effective manner to reach the destination in a safe and timely manner.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

• Drive company vehicles to deliver products, equipment, and supplies to designated locations.
• With proper coordination with the requesting departments/section, to deliver specimen, mails, packages, and other related documents to the indicated addresses.
• To coordinate with the security supervisor to take the female employees to the shopping areas, as per schedule.
• To determine the needs for transport services to hospital staff and to approve the transport request after careful evaluation of said request.
• To render transport services to King Khalid International Airport for the female staff going and coming from vacation and for those male and female staff who are going on exit visas, as per approved transport request.
• With an approved request, to take female employees to the Saudi American and Riyadh Bank.
• To take medical staff and nursing staff to the site of exam during their MOH licensure examination.
• To be responsible for pre-operational checking of vehicle assigned to him prior to the scheduled trip (brakes, water, oil, tire pressure, and physical feature of the vehicle).
• To take necessary precautions while performing the job and to obey the traffic laws and regulations.
• To perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Ensure that the NMC vehicles will be used only for business purposes any violation to this rules disciplinary action will be taken against the concern driver.
• Personal use includes using the vehicle for personal errands between business activities, to commute between the workplace and home, or using the vehicle outside of assigned business hours is totally prohibited.
• Following rules will be followed;
• Report any damage or problems to your assigned vehicle immediately.
• Report changes to your driver privileges, such as driver's license suspension, immediately.
• Always lock company cars.
• Bring vehicle to scheduled maintenance appointments.
• Do not drive while intoxicated fatigue, or on medication that affects your driving ability.
• Do not smoke in any company vehicle.
• Do not lease, sell, or lend a company vehicle.
• Do not use a phone or text while driving.
• Do not allow unauthorized drivers to use a company vehicle unless required by an emergency.
