Veolia Water Technologies, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a CAD/Drafting Engineer to coordinate and oversee CADD workflows for 3D and 2D models. You will review rough sketches, supervise detailed drawing production, and lead preparation and redrafting in close collaboration with the engineering team.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate, manage, and oversee CADD workflows for both 3D and 2D software models.
• Review rough sketches and supervise the production of detailed work using CADD systems.
• Lead the preparation, review, and redrafting processes in close coordination alongside the engineering team.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards and guaranteeing team deliverables.
• Manage, maintain, and audit drawing archives and organized records, ensuring all revisions, updates, and transmittals are properly documented.
• Assist, participate, and coordinate in the compilation of basic process design data; finalizes process scheme & equipment selection.
• Act as the primary liaison to assist design engineers for process and design.
• Carry out, review, and approve process and detailed designs, specifically for piping & gas.
• Prepares and verifies preliminary designs, drawings, detailed drawings, and fabrication details.
• Participates with the design engineer in the final selection of process, plant, and equipment.
• Liaises actively with project & proposals engineers to ensure smooth implementation of design; carries out design checks and certification as required.
• Oversee product standardization and manage project engineering documentation systems.
• Carries out any other duties related to the area of expertise as assigned by the design manager or his designee.

Job Description

Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Qualifications

Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
