Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Downstream Pricing Analyst to join our Global Optimizer Development Department. You will develop and enhance price forecast visualization tools, compute transfer prices, and coordinate with stakeholders to validate implementations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 8+ years of experience in data analytics and downstream oil & gas, and strong Excel/modeling skills. Expect a demanding, cross-functional environment with high-impact decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Statistics, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or closely related subject.
• MBA/Statistics/Economics is desirable.
• Deep knowledge of model development and MS Excel functions.
• Detailed understanding of downstream business and supply chain.
• 8+ years of relevant experience (preferable in oil & gas downstream), including 3+ years in data analytics (market research, corporate planning, business development).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance price forecast visualization tools.
• Coordinate with Pricing Insights and Market Analysis teams for market trends.
• Gather data from forward curves, market premiums/discounts, freight costs, and transfer price components.
• Compute transfer prices daily for M to M+3 per planning cycle.
• Coordinate with Asset Economists and market insights for review and validation of prices.
• Issue weekly price forecasts to inform opportunities and negotiations.
• Issue actual transfer prices on the last day of the month for the next month.
• Perform lookbacks on TP forecasting quality and identify trends.
• Assist accounting to ensure price quality for Standard and Non-Standard Cargoes.
