As Lendo continues to scale its crowd‑lending and SME financing offering, we’re seeking a Digital Sales Team Leader to drive performance across our digital sales function. In this role, you’ll lead and develop a high‑performing team responsible for converting inbound and outbound leads into strong pipeline management and CRM discipline. Working closely with marketing, credit, and operations, you’ll play a key role in improving conversion rates, optimising the digital sales journey, and positioning Lendo as a for SMEs as the business grows.
Key Requirements
Team Leadership & Performance
- motivate a team of digital sales representatives to consistently achieve and exceed sales KPIs
- Monitor daily performance across inbound and outbound calls, lead follow‑ups, and conversions
- Conduct regular one‑on‑one sessions, performance reviews, and sales coaching
- Foster a high‑performance, results‑driven sales culture
Sales Operations & Execution
- Manage inbound and outbound sales calls related to SME funding and crowdfunding opportunities
- Ensure effective lead qualification, needs analysis, and solution pitching
- Optimize conversion rates across the sales funnel
- Oversee pipeline hygiene and deal progression through the CRM
CRM & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely CRM usage by the sales team
- Track KPIs including call volumes, contact rates, conversion rates, and revenue performance
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, insights, and improvement plans to management
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve sales scripts, processes, and customer journey
- Collaborate closely with marketing, credit, and operations teams to improve lead quality and turnaround times
- Support onboarding and training of new sales team members
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with broader campaigns.
- Share insights and feedback with the sales team to optimise overall conversion rates and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a digital/inside sales team
- Proven experience in insurance, financial services, fintech, lending, or related industries
- Strong background in inbound and outbound sales environments
- Hands‑on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver against aggressive sales targets and KPIs
- Strong analytical, coaching, and people‑management skills
