Job summary

My Clinic in Saudi Arabia seeks a licensed nurse to provide clinical advice and education to people living with diabetes or at risk. You will guide patients on nutrition, physical activity, glucose testing and medication safety, helping them adopt healthier lives.

You will collaborate with GPs, endocrinologists, dietitians and pharmacists, document progress, and stay updated with the latest diabetes care innovations to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or diabetes education diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical advice and education to people with diabetes or at risk.
• Educate on diabetes, its complications and related conditions.
• Advise on lifestyle changes to support diabetes management.
• Give guidance on medication management, including insulin therapy.
• Educate self-monitoring of blood glucose techniques and interpretation.
• Support goal setting and health goal achievement.
• Encourage collaboration with GP, endocrinologist, dietitian, and others.
• Introduce and install CGM and insulin pump education for appropriate patients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in diabetes care.
• Monitor and document patient progress.
• Perform other professional duties as assigned.
