Job summary

Saudi Azm is seeking a DevOps/SRE engineer to design, build, and operate scalable CI/CD pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments. You will automate infrastructure, manage containers with Docker and Kubernetes, and ensure security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven DevOps, cloud engineering, SRE, or systems administration background.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong Linux and networking knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
• Experience with config management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, ELK).
• Understanding of secrets management, IAM, cloud security

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC.
• Deploy and maintain applications across cloud and on-premises.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system availability, performance, and security.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.
• Implement logging, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Apply security best practices throughout the SDLC.
• Manage source-control strategies, release processes, and environments.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and deployment frequency.
• Develop scripts and tools to reduce manual tasks.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and diagrams.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote DevOps practices.
