Job summary

ByteGrid Talent Services seeks a meticulous Accountant to join our Jeddah team. You will manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations, while preparing financial statements and budgets. The role requires attention to detail and strong English communication skills.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years of experience, and knowledge of Saudi Arabia accounting regulations. Saudi work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks).
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot numerical errors.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Own visa or eligible to work in Saudi Arabia without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management
• Create budgets and forecast future financial trends
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper allocation of funds
• Review expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to accounting practices
• Liaise with external auditors during annual audits
• Provide support for any ad-hoc financial analysis or projects as needed
