Job summary

Parsons in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced design coordination professional to support infrastructure masterplans and design delivery across all project stages. You will coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, manage interfaces, and help ensure integrated, high-quality outputs aligned with project requirements.

The role requires a strong engineering background with 10 years in design coordination or design management, plus excellent organizational and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 10 years of experience in design coordination or design management roles.
• Experience working with multi-di design consultants.
• Good understanding of design development stages and coordination requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design consultants and technical teams to ensure integrated, high-quality design outputs.
• Review and monitor design submissions for quality, completeness, coordination, and alignment with project requirements prior to approvals.
• Support the resolution of design clashes, technical queries, constructability issues, and cross-disciplinary coordination matters.
• Maintain design trackers, action logs, registers, approval workflows, and technical records to support governance and reporting.
• Apply standardized design management templates, tools, methodologies, and reporting procedures across projects and monitor progress against milestones.
• Coordinate interfaces between disciplines, infrastructure systems, assets, consultants, stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure integrated outcomes.
• Identify, track, and support mitigation of design-related risks, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, support functions, and project teams to support timely reviews, approvals, and decision-making.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent communication of design information across all stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Strong infrastructure planning/design experience
• Proven experience developing/managing strategic infrastructure masterplans.
• Strong understanding of power, water and utility planning/interfaces.
• Experience managing infrastructure design at program/masterplan level, not only multidisciplinary design coordination.
• A strong technical engineering background relevant to major infrastructure programs.
• Support the Senior Management and Senior Design Manager in the day-to-day management, coordination, and assurance of design delivery across all project stages.
• Coordinate design consultants and technical teams to ensure compliant, integrated, and high-quality design outputs.
• Review and monitor design submissions for quality, completeness, coordination, and alignment with project requirements prior to approvals.
• Support the resolution of design clashes, technical queries, constructability issues, and cross-disciplinary coordination matters.
• Maintain design trackers, action logs, registers, approval workflows, and technical records to support effective governance and reporting.
• Apply standardized design management templates, tools, methodologies, and reporting procedures across assigned projects and monitor design progress against agreed milestones, schedules, and stage gate deliverables.
