We are looking for the Delivery Operations Manager – Major Projects (DOM MP) to lead safe, high-quality, and profitable execution of large and complex elevator and escalator projects. The role ensures on‑time delivery, customer satisfaction, and business performance, while driving operational excellence, risk control, and team competence within the major projects segment.

What will you do?
  • Ensure safety and quality are fully embedded across all major project operations.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale and technically complex projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and scope.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing operations team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors.
  • Oversee installation capacity, subcontractor performance, and resource optimisation to meet project milestones.
  • Drive proactive financial control by monitoring CM2, cost‑to‑complete, and project profitability; take early corrective actions when needed.
  • Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with KONE installation standards and Lean principles.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Engineering, Sourcing, and Service to ensure seamless project execution and handover.
  • Manage client relationships, contractual obligations, and escalations, ensuring professional communication and issue resolution.
  • Promote continuous improvement, standardisation of best practices, and productivity enhancement across all major projects.
  • Support business planning, forecasting, and portfolio performance reporting to management.
Are you the one?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • 10+ years’ experience in project management or operations within the elevator and escalator industry, including at least 5 years handling major or complex projects.
  • Proven track record in managing large teams, budgets, and subcontractors on high‑value construction projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost‑management capability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement principles is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.
