Job summary

2P Perfect Presentation, a leading ICT solutions provider in Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced MSSQL Database Administrator to join our team in Riyadh. The role demands hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, core database administration, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery environments.

You will manage, monitor, and optimize databases across multiple environments, ensure security and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in core database administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database administration.
• Strong troubleshooting experience in Cluster and DR environments.
• Proven experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Knowledge of Oracle Administration is a plus.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across multiple environments.
• Ensure database performance, security, stability, and scalability.
• Manage and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) configurations.
• Perform regular database backups, restores, and recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize SQL Server performance.
• Monitor database systems and proactively address performance and availability issues.
• Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Implement and maintain database policies, standards, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues within Cluster and DR environments.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support critical business systems.
