Job summary

Datamatics-Global-Services-Ltd is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) in Saudi Arabia. The role requires 3–5 years hands-on DBA experience across enterprise environments and proficiency with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.

You will handle monitoring, backups, performance tuning, security, and migrations as part of a cross-functional team. Applicants should be Saudi nationals and ready to work on-site in the Eastern Province.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL.
• Good knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HA/DR and database replication.
• Knowledge of database security, access management, and monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard DBA activities including database administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain database systems.
• Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery activities.
• Monitor database performance, availability, capacity, and health.
• Perform SQL and database performance tuning.
• Manage users, roles, permissions, and database security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
