Job summary

C5i is a pure-play AI & Analytics provider delivering trustworthy intelligence through AI-assisted decision-making. The Data Privacy Consultant will drive privacy initiatives across business units, advise on data protection strategies, and embed privacy into operations and projects.

Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, legal, and business teams to conduct RoPA/PIA reviews, manage DPA assessments, and strengthen governance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of data privacy principles, frameworks, and regulations (e.g., PDPL, GDPR).
• Experience in privacy assessments, risk management, and compliance processes.
• Hands-on experience with privacy or GRC platforms and tools.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, reporting, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage RoPA and PIA for processes and systems with accuracy.
• Implement periodic RoPA, PIA, and PII classification reviews.
• Conduct PII data classification, anonymization, and control validation.
• Oversee third-party privacy and risk management including DPA reviews.
• Define and monitor data breach management processes and drills.
• Manage employee and customer consent processes with documentation.
• Develop and monitor privacy training programs across the organization.
• Support privacy governance including reporting and audits.
• Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, and business units.
• Provide guidance on emerging privacy risks and best practices.
• Assist in developing privacy policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement for privacy automation, tools, and reporting.

Job Purpose:

The Data Privacy Consultant will support the organization in driving effective data privacy initiatives across all business units. The role involves leading privacy assessments, advising on data protection strategies, implementing best practices, and strengthening privacy frameworks. The consultant will collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, legal, and business teams to embed privacy principles into operations and projects while driving continuous improvement in privacy processes, policies, and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and validate Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) for processes and systems, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Implement periodic reviews of RoPA, PIA, and PII classification to maintain ongoing compliance.
• Conduct and monitor PII data classification, anonymization, and related control validation across critical systems.
• Oversee third-party privacy and risk management, including vendor assessments, privacy risk tracking, Data Processing Agreement (DPA) review, and integration with enterprise risk frameworks.
• Define, monitor, and enhance personal data breach management processes, including incident reporting, SLAs, and mock drills.
• Manage employee and customer consent processes, ensuring proper documentation, tracking, and periodic effectiveness reviews.
• Develop, deliver, and monitor role-based data privacy training and awareness programs across the organization.
• Support privacy governance initiatives, including reporting, audits, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, and business units to ensure privacy requirements are embedded in projects and operations.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to management on emerging privacy risks, compliance gaps, and best practices.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for privacy automation, tools, and reporting.
