Job summary

Infosys is seeking a senior Data Scientist to design and implement GenAI-powered models in a Saudi-based setting, focusing on NLP and prompt engineering. You will collaborate with data engineers to access diverse data and deploy vector database-powered retrieval.

This role emphasizes robust AI governance, explainability, and ongoing optimization. The position requires 6+ years in Data Science / Applied AI with hands-on GenAI, NLP, and RAG-driven architecture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and develop GenAI-powered models and prompt frameworks.
• Implement GenAI analysis results.
• Develop AI logic to identify repeated items across data sources and detect systemic issues.
• Build quality analysis and scoring models (0-100%) based on predefined criteria.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to access structured and unstructured assessment data and utilise vector databases for semantic search.
• Continuously refine AI outputs through user query analysis, UAT feedback, prompt optimisation and model fine-tuning.
• Support go-live validation, performance monitoring, and AI accuracy improvements post-deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop GenAI-powered models and prompt frameworks
• Implement GenAI analysis results
• Develop AI logic to: Identify repeated items across Data sources and detect systemic issues and patterns
• Build quality analysis and scoring models to rate assessment reports (0-100%) based on predefined criteria
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to:
  • Access structured and unstructured assessment data
  • Utilise vector databases for semantic search and contextual retrieval
• Continuously refine AI outputs through:
  • User query analysis
  • UAT feedback
  • Prompt optimisation and model fine-tuning

• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • GenAI / LLMs
  • NLP techniques
  • Prompt engineering and agentic workflows
• Experience working with vector databases and RAG-based architecture.
• Proven ability to translate business rules and evaluation frameworks into AI logic
• Strong analytical and explainability mindset able to justify AI outputs to business stakeholders.

Desirable

• Experience in enterprise assessment, audit, or performance management systems
• Exposure to SAP-integrated AI solutions
