Job summary

Decima International is seeking an experienced MEP Site Engineer to oversee the supervision and coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and cooling system installations for a major data center project. The role ensures compliance with drawings, specs, and standards while supporting inspections, testing, commissioning, and interface coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical engineering.
• ≥10 years overall experience; ≥8 years MEP construction/site engineering.
• ≥6 years on large-scale data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation, specs, and inspection.
• Proven coordination across MEP, QA/QC, commissioning teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MEP installations for compliance with drawings and standards.
• Conduct site inspections; check workmanship and progress.
• Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning for MEP systems.
• Coordinate inspection requests with QA/QC and review submittals.
• Coordinate interfaces among MEP, CSA, vendors and contractors.
• Track progress, manpower, materials, and work sequencing.
• Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Report risks and issues to the Senior Construction Manager.
• Support technical queries and on-site coordination conflicts.
• Review shop drawings and installation documentation for alignment.
• Assist in turnover, handover, and closeout documentation.
