Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer to join our expanding Data Centers Cloud regions. You will operate and maintain world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure in our DCs, following a process-oriented approach and ensuring safety procedures are implemented.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists and security experts to uphold safety standards while delivering reliable cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar technical field.
• Knowledge of BMS and EPMS control systems and data collection/trending.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC, Controls).
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and foster a world-class safety culture.
• Support electrical and mechanical equipment including UPS, Switchgear, ATS, generators, HVAC, and related components.
• Operate and maintain data center mechanical and electrical systems and respond to incidents within SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and drive cost-efficient operations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus
