Job Role Profile:

The Cybersecurity Consultant is responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, and advising on cybersecurity controls to protect organizational information systems, networks, and data. The role supports secure operations by identifying risks, recommending mitigation strategies, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational security policies.

  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, security reviews, and gap analyses across infrastructure, applications, and operational environments.
  • Design and recommend security architectures, controls, and frameworks aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
  • Support implementation and optimization of security solutions such as firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Perform security assessments including configuration reviews, compliance checks, and technical validations.
  • Identify security risks, assess impact and likelihood, and provide clear, actionable remediation recommendations.
  • Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment guidance, and post-incident reviews.
  • Advice stakeholders on secure system design, change management, and security best practices.
  • Prepare and present security reports, risk registers, and executive summaries for management and clients.
  • Support compliance and audit activities by providing evidence, documentation, and technical explanations.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends, and proactively recommend improvements.

Talent Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • +6 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
