Job summary

Alstom is seeking a cybersecurity architect to strengthen security across critical systems. You will work with Engineering, Project Management, and IT to develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies, ensuring data and infrastructure protection from threats.

You’ll lead risk analysis, define architecture principles, and plan/tests for cyber resilience, while collaborating with project teams and external partners in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH, or strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience or understanding of cybersecurity risk analysis and management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity architecture and design principles.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and design security solutions.
• Ability to stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Strong attention to detail for documenting and analyzing test results.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment and address evolving security challenges.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to contribute to a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and supervision for the project/program team.
• Participate in Project/Program Design Reviews.
• Support engineering team by addressing design and technical difficulties related to cybersecurity implementation.
• Be referent for management and third parties on cybersecurity architecture and technical implementation.
• Ensure homogeneous cybersecurity implementation conform to Governance & Expertise policies.
• Establish the cybersecurity context where delegated by the PCyM.
• Define cybersecurity architecture and design principles.
• Establish and maintain Cybersecurity Risk Analysis.
• Establish CADRA and Cybersecurity Assets Inventory as needed.
• Support cybersecurity through evaluation of design documents and approvals.
• Plan cybersecurity tests (penetration tests, vulnerability scans).
• Specify tests to be performed and select/design testing tools.
• Perform cybersecurity tests on targeted systems.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the security and resilience of critical systems, safeguarding data and infrastructure from potential threats. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, and IT), contribute to the development and implementation of robust cybersecurity strategies, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

• Provide technical guidance and supervision for the project/program team

• Defining cybersecurity architecture and design principles ,
• Establishing and maintaining Cybersecurity Risk Analysis ,
• Establishing the Cybersecurity Architecture Design and Requirements Allocation (CADRA) ,
• Establishing and maintaining the Cybersecurity Assets Inventory (for projects with vulnerability management) ,
• Supporting the implementation of cybersecurity through active contribution of evaluation (e.g., in cybersecurity approval of design documents) ,
• Planning the cybersecurity tests (e.g., penetration tests, vulnerabilities scans) ,
• Specifying cybersecurity tests to be performed ,
• Selecting, designing, and creating appropriate tools for testing ,
• Performing cybersecurity tests on targeted systems
