Job description

ASMO is a groundbreaking joint venture between DHL and Saudi Aramco. Inheriting DHL's logistics excellence and Saudi Aramco's extensive supply chain ecosystem, we are here to set a new benchmark and redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape, enabling growth.

ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region.

Objective

The role provides structured operational, coordination, documentation, and analytical support for ASMO's customer-facing Technology engagement across onboarding, Order-to-Deliver, integration, commercial, and operational initiatives.

Operating under managerial direction, the role supports the Customer Business Partner Manager by capturing, clarifying, coordinating, and tracking customer business requirements, ensuring requests are complete, accurately documented, routed through the agreed governance channels, and followed up in a disciplined manner. The role is not accountable for final prioritisation, budget approval, solution ownership, or strategic decision-making.

General Responsibilities
  • Support the Customer Business Partner Manager in preparing customer business requirement inputs for governance forums, customer onboarding reviews, commercial readiness discussions, and annual planning cycles.
  • Maintain and improve standard customer intake templates, requirement documentation, prioritization inputs, reporting formats, and governance materials in line with manager direction.
  • Capture, log, classify, and maintain customer business and technology requirements in the agreed register, tracker, or workflow tool.
  • Conduct first-level requirement qualification, ensuring customer requests are complete, clear, commercially relevant, and ready for review by the Customer Business Partner Manager and Technology teams.
  • Clarify customer objectives, expected outcomes, urgency, dependencies, integration needs, operational impacts, budget assumptions, and success criteria with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare prioritisation inputs using agreed criteria such as customer value, revenue enablement, strategic alignment, urgency, feasibility, risk mitigation, operational efficiency, stakeholder impact, and innovation potential; final prioritisation remains with the manager and governance forums.
  • Maintain updated customer requirement trackers, status dashboards, action logs, and management reporting packs for manager review.
  • Act as a working-level coordination point between customer-facing business teams and Technology delivery teams; escalates issues, risks, decisions, and conflicts to the Customer Business Partner Manager.
  • Support customer engagement sessions, onboarding workshops, and requirement clarification meetings by preparing materials, capturing notes, tracking actions, and following up on agreed next steps.
  • Support Technology-related Order-to-Deliver activities for customer opportunities, affiliate onboarding, and commercial initiatives, including documenting customer technology requirements, integration needs, process impacts, and delivery assumptions.
  • Coordinate inputs from applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, enterprise architecture, and operations teams; support preparation of first-level IT impact assessment inputs for customer requirements.
  • Identify scope, cost, timeline, dependency, customer experience, and delivery risks early and elevate them to the Customer Business Partner Manager for direction or decision-making.
  • Operate within the IT Business Partner organisation as a specialist support role reporting to the Customer Business Partner Manager, contributing to improved workflow between customer-facing teams, Technology delivery teams, and the customer business partnering function.
  • Support coordination with Commercial, Procurement, and Finance where customer requirements require budget, sourcing, or commercial input; provide documentation and analysis while budget ownership and approvals remain with the relevant manager, function, or governance authority.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of customer requirement management practices and stakeholder experience, considering leading practices in customer business partnering and demand governance.
  • Support standardization of customer intake templates, requirement documentation, prioritization scoring, reporting formats, and governance materials to increase operational effectiveness within the customer business partnering process.
  • Maintain updated customer requirement dashboards and management reporting packs, ensuring reports are prepared timely, accurately, and meet IT Business Partner department requirements.
  • Ensure customer requirement management activities comply with relevant quality, security, confidentiality, and information handling standards across the IT Business Partner department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
