Job summary

Durucooperation is seeking a QC Welding Inspector to ensure welding activities meet approved procedures, project specifications, and international codes across fabrication, erection, and installation phases. The role demands strong technical expertise, meticulous inspection, and active participation in quality assurance.

You will verify procedures, welder qualifications, material traceability, and weld quality, coordinate with NDT teams, review ITPs, and maintain accurate inspection records

Qualifications

• CSWIP certification and welding inspection expertise.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards and codes.
• Experience with WPS, PQR, ITP review and welding maps.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Document inspection findings and maintain quality records.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and surveillance of welding activities during fabrication, erection, and installation phases.
• Verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material traceability.
• Conduct visual inspections of welding joints, fit-ups and weld preparations.
• Monitor welding parameters and ensure compliance with WPS/PQR and specs.
• Coordinate with NDT teams and review non-destructive testing reports.
• Identify defects, non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Review drawings, welding maps, specs and ITPs.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and welding documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, procedures and client requirements.
• Participate in quality audits, site inspections and project meetings.
• Support continuous improvement in welding quality and inspection processes.
• Adhere to HSE regulations and workplace safety during inspections.
