Job description

About the role

We at Enso are expanding our multidisciplinary creative studio in Riyadh.

We are looking for designers who can think before they execute: people who can respond to a brief with an original concept, turn that concept into a compelling narrative, and imagine how an audience will experience it in a real event environment.

Your original discipline may be architecture, interior architecture, graphic design, 3D design, experiential design or creative writing. What matters most is your ability to originate ideas, structure stories, debate creative direction and collaborate with specialists to bring an integrated experience to life. We do not expect one person to execute every aspect of design. We do expect every designer to understand and protect the idea connecting different design disciplines.

This is not a production-only or software-operator role.

You will be expected to own the thinking behind the work, not wait for another team member to direct your design.

What you will do
  • Interpret client briefs and identify the central creative opportunity.
  • Develop original concepts for events, conferences, exhibitions, activations and immersive experiences.
  • Turn concepts into clear creative narratives, audience journeys and presentation structures.
  • Build mood boards, references, storylines, experience principles and visual directions.
  • Explain and defend your ideas in internal reviews and client presentations.
  • Translate narratives into visual, spatial, graphic, digital or content-led expressions.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, architects, 3D designers, content writers, motion designers and production teams.
  • Direct or brief specialists in areas outside your own technical discipline.
  • Give and receive direct, thoughtful creative feedback.
  • Maintain the strength of the core concept as it moves from proposal to execution.
  • Consider feasibility, budget and production realities without allowing them to replace creative ambition.
What we are looking for
  • At least three years of direct, hands‑on experience designing events, conferences, exhibitions, brand activations or comparable live experiences.
  • A strong portfolio showing event-related work (not only branding, social media, architecture or standalone renders).
  • Evidence that you personally contributed to the concept, narrative or experience design.
  • The ability to explain the idea behind a project, not only the final appearance.
  • Strong visual and verbal storytelling skills.
  • Confidence structuring pitch decks and presenting ideas clearly.
  • An understanding of audience journeys, physical space and the relationship between content, graphics, architecture, technology and production.
  • The maturity to collaborate across disciplines and trust other specialists.
  • The ability to work through ambiguity, feedback and demanding deadlines.
  • Working proficiency in English and Arabic. Bilingual presentation experience is mandatory.
Portfolio requirements

Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.

Please submit three relevant event projects. For each project, clearly state:

  1. The original brief or challenge.
  2. The central creative concept.
  3. The narrative or audience journey.
  4. Your personal contribution.
  5. Who you collaborated with.
  6. How the idea developed from concept to final execution.
  7. What was ultimately produced or experienced by the audience.

Mood boards, sketches, presentation structures, early concept work and process material are as valuable to us as polished final images.

Preferred profile
Priority will be given to qualified candidates who:
  • Are currently based in Riyadh.
  • Have strong knowledge of Saudi culture and audiences.
  • Have designed live events or experiences in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
  • Can work confidently in both Arabic and English.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential, regardless of their formal job title.

Saudi talent is strongly encouraged to apply.
