Job summary

Avanta Works in Mecca, Egypt, is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our construction team. You will operate a range of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on site while following project plans and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of crane-operating experience, a valid Egyptian passport, and good Arabic communication skills. The role is contract-based and outdoors, with physical requirements to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year crane-operating experience.
• Must hold a valid biometric passport from Egypt.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Basic understanding of construction plans.
• Good communication skills in Arabic.
• Crane operator certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate tower, mobile, and crawler cranes as assigned.
• Inspect equipment before use and perform routine maintenance.
• Lift and move materials per project plans and supervisor instructions.
• Ensure safety of all personnel on the job site.
• Communicate with ground crew using signals or radios.
• Keep logs and incident reports of crane operations.
