Job summary

SLB is seeking a CPL Field Specialist in Saudi Arabia to ensure safe, efficient service delivery of PSD to customers. You will analyze risks, implement standard work, and steadily improve performance while maintaining regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

The role requires hands-on experience with Liner Hanger operations, reading engineering drawings, and proficient use of Excel/Word. Saudi site experience and familiarity with Aramco standards are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Liner Hanger operations.
• Experience with cemented and non-cemented Liner Hanger applications (hydraulic and mechanical).
• Proficiency reading and interpreting technical drawings, procedures and calculations.

Job description

The CPL Field Specialist is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The CPL Field Specialist identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manages risk during service delivery.

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Responsible for service delivery execution.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
• Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
• Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the CAT, self‑assessments, and wellsite inspections.
• Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.

• Education, Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in Liner Hanger operations proven experience with:
  • Cemented Liner Hanger applications (Hydraulic and mechanical)
  • Non‑cemented Liner Hanger applications. (Hydraulic and mechanical)
  • Open Hole and Cemented (MSF) systems.
  • Off‑Bottom Cement applications.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic calculations related to liner hanger operations.
• Good knowledge of completion design principles and operational planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience using completion engineering software, including:
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and engineering calculations.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia and with Aramco standards (preferred).
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in field operations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
