Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low‑latency, high‑speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structure, draft and negotiate a range of agreements, including those needed to construct and operate satellite gateways and agreements with field service providers.
  • Provide legal counsel to the Amazon Leo ground infrastructure and field services teams on all matters related to contracts, compliance, and risk management.
  • Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business‑centric ways and build processes that address risk while allowing the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
  • Support the team contracting with field services providers, with a focus on deals in APAC.
A Day in the Life

You be embedded with the Amazon Leo ground infrastructure services and operations teams (ground gateways, networking infrastructure) and collaborate closely with field services providers.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of legal experience.
  • Qualified to practice law in Singapore, Australia, US, UK or another common law jurisdiction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in both corporate law firm and in‑house work.
  • Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
