Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Medina, Saudi Arabia, seeks a senior construction lead to drive the construction and execution of HV EHV substation projects. You will ensure compliance with SEC standards, approved drawings, project specifications, and HSE requirements while coordinating with client representatives and consultants.

Responsibilities include leading electrical construction activities, planning schedules and resources, reviewing method statements and ITPs, and overseeing inspections,

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical construction activities for HV EHV substations
• Manage installation of transformers GIS AIS switchgear circuit breakers CT PT protection amp control SCADA AC DC systems and earthing
• Plan and monitor construction activities schedules manpower materials and resources
• Ensure all works comply with SEC standards approved drawings specifications and applicable IEC standards
• Coordinate with Engineering Procurement QA QC HSE Planning T&C and subcontractor teams
• Review method statements ITPs shop drawings and technical submissions
• Monitor project progress identify delays and implement recovery actions
• Coordinate inspections testing commissioning energization and project handover
• Manage subcontractors and ensure productivity and resource availability
• Coordinate directly with SEC client representatives and consultants for approvals inspections and technical matters
• Monitor quality NCRs and punch points and ensure timely closure
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to project management
• Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety PTW and HSE requirements
