Job summary

Confidential Careers seeks a Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory adherence and governance across head office and project sites for a construction and oil & gas contractor in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures compliance with Saudi laws, client requirements, and internal controls, reporting risks to management.

You will maintain policy registers, monitor licences and registrations, and conduct periodic reviews, audits and due diligence on subcontractors, with a focus on IKTVA, HSE, and tendering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, governance, audit or risk, preferably with a construction or oil & gas contractor.
• Professional certification preferred (CCEP, ICA, CIA, GRCP or ISO Lead Auditor).
• Knowledge of Saudi regulations including Companies Law, Labor Law and Government Tenders & Procurement Law.

Responsibilities

• Organize and monitor adherence to company rules, policies and procedures across head office and project sites.
• Verify and enforce compliance with internal regulations, client requirements and applicable laws.
• Support governance programs including anti-bribery, conflict-of-interest and code-of-conduct.
• Document Roles & Responsibilities and DoA; identify overlaps and suggest segregation of duties.
• Track internal and client audit findings and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Prepare periodic compliance and risk reports for senior management and maintain a compliance risk register.
