Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah is seeking a Commis 3 – Kitchen to join our luxury kitchen brigade. The role involves preparing ingredients, maintaining quality and presentation, and supporting the pastry and prep teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree, thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment, demonstrates teamwork, reliability and energetic work ethic, and is culturally adaptable.

Responsibilities

Gathers, measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasoning.
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meat as applicable.
Proficient knowledge of cutting and seasoning different meats and marination.
Prepare dishes such as salads and sauces with finer details and exquisite presentation.
Proficient knowledge of established recipes and plating guide provided, to exact specification.
Ensure proper stocking of food items in refrigerators and freezers.
Document inventory of kitchen supplies, and notify supervisors of low stock situations.
