Job summary

Ninja ?? نينجا in Jeddah is seeking a Commercial Planning Manager to lead planning activities across assortment, inventory health, SKU productivity, and range optimization.

You will translate commercial strategy into actionable plans, improve assortment productivity, reduce overstock, optimize inventory, and support profitable growth. You will collaborate with Category Management, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Master Data, Commercial Excellence, and Media Buying teams to drive planning

Responsibilities

• Lead assortment planning and range optimization across categories.
• Monitor inventory health, overstock, slow-moving and aged stock, and drive clearance actions.
• Lead SKU rationalization to improve product and category productivity.
• Analyze sales, margin, stock cover, availability, and SKU performance to identify opportunities and risks.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and seasonal commercial planning activities.
• Work closely with Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and other key stakeholders to align plans and drive execution.
• Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assortment planning and range optimization across categories
• Monitor inventory health, overstock, slow-moving and aged stock, and drive clearance actions
• Lead SKU rationalization to improve product and category productivity
• Analyze sales, margin, stock cover, availability, and SKU performance to identify opportunities and risks
• Support monthly, quarterly, and seasonal commercial planning activities
• Work closely with Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and other key stakeholders to align plans and drive execution
• Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making

Requirements

• Planning, Category Planning, Retail Planning, or a similar role
• Strong experience in assortment planning, inventory management, SKU rationalization, and range optimization
• Strong understanding of retail commercial metrics such as sales, margin, sell-through, stock cover, inventory value, and SKU productivity
• Experience working closely with Category Management and Supply/Demand Planning teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to work with data and planning reports
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate data and analysis into clear commercial actions and recommendations
