Job summary

Jotun Saudia Co. Ltd. is seeking a Coating Advisor to provide technical on-site support for paint applications and inspections in Saudi Arabia, across Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah.

The role reports to the TSS Manager and requires delivering high-quality outcomes aligned with contract requirements and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include leading inspections, reporting, and coordinating with client representatives while adhering to Jotun HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering/Science preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (verbal and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical advice on paint applications and inspections.
• Carry out project inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Create and issue inspection reports documenting criteria.
• Lead projects within Protective and Marine as required.
• Perform paint inspections per HSE policies.
• Operate modern inspection equipment and deliver timely site visit reports.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Coating Advisor, you will be responsible for providing professional technical advice to our customers, by on-site support on paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met, and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer’s satisfaction. These positions are based in Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and reports to the TSS Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Give clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff on paint applications by working on-site with relevant client representatives to ensure the coating specification is met and in accordance with customer expectations.
• Carry out inspections of specific projects assigned to you by your direct manager by working independently, following the inspection test plan and work procedures, in order to ensure that Jotun products are applied in accordance with the specification.
• Create and issue relevant reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met.
• Attending and leading the projects as defined by their line manager within Protective and Marine as per business requirements.
• Carry out paint inspections of specific assigned projects in accordance with Jotun HSE - Health, Safety, and Environment Policies & Procedures.
• Resourceful in creating and delivering on time quality technical site visit reports along with handling and use of modern technology inspection equipment’s.

We are looking for:

• Qualification: Bachelor Degree. B. Sc. Engineering / Science is preferable.
• Fluency in Arabic & English – both verbally and written.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and computer skills.
• Valid driving license for Saudi Arabia.
• Locations – Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (One Position for each location).
