Job summary

Koch Industries, Inc is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to lead the design and optimization of coating processes for current and future projects within the global development team.

You will drive process improvements, mentor an operational team, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity while advancing thin film technologies and production capabilities.

Qualifications

Lead the design and optimization of coating processes for current and upcoming product projects of the global development team Serve as an integral member of the global development team contributing to new thin film process technology product launches product transfers and process improvement initiatives Lead an operational team in a safe and efficient manner and take ownership of vision advancement safety quality and productivity Provide process engineering support to plant operations driving improvements in quality performance and throughput of vacuum coating systems Seeking opportunities to learn from the market and bring outside perceptions the best practices and opportunities that will improve Guardian s process technology capability Advance deepen the underlying knowledge of our products and production processes technologies Clearly present and communicate ideas concepts and plans across multiple levels thought the region Stay up to date with industry trends learnings and innovations to advance the business strategy

Bachelor s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Experience in Optical Thin Film technologies and vacuum coating sputtering process for solar, semiconductor and/or architectural coated glass industries. Demonstrated ability to contribute to complex technical projects by analyzing challenges, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions. Proven expertise in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma, and Lean principles, with a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives. Experience leading and motivating high-performing team.
