Job summary

NEPROPLAST is seeking an experienced CNC Technician for its CNC Workshop. You will set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC machines to manufacture, repair, and modify precision components, especially injection molds and extrusion tooling.

The role requires a Diploma or technical certification and at least 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience in mold manufacturing, with strong skills in Mastercam and CAD/CAM software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in mechanical engineering, CNC machining, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience in mold manufacturing.
• Practical experience in CNC milling; knowledge of EDM wire cut and EDM sinker.
• Ability to create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs.
• Proficiency with Mastercam or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Familiarity with injection molds and tooling maintenance.
• Experience with manual milling and lathes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling, EDM Wire Cut, and EDM Sinker machines.
• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, mold designs, machining specifications, and tolerances.
• Manufacture, repair, and modify injection mold components, dies, and extrusion tooling.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Perform accurate dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and carry out routine preventive maintenance.
• Minimize machining defects, material waste, and equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and tooling teams to complete workshop assignments efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety procedures, and maintenance requirements.
