NEPROPLAST is seeking a skilled CNC Technician to join our CNC Workshop team. You will set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC machines to manufacture precision components, particularly injection molds, dies, and extrusion tooling used in plastic manufacturing.

Reading and interpreting drawings, mold designs, and tolerances, you will select tools, fixtures, and machining parameters to produce and repair mold components.

NEPROPLAST is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Technician to join our CNC Workshop team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture, repair, and modify precision components, particularly injection molds, dies, and extrusion tooling used in plastic manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling, EDM Wire Cut, and EDM Sinker machines.
• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, mold designs, machining specifications, and tolerances.
• Manufacture, repair, and modify injection mold components, dies, and extrusion tooling.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Perform accurate dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and carry out routine preventive maintenance.
• Minimize machining defects, material waste, and equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and tooling teams to complete workshop assignments efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety procedures, and maintenance requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining, Tool & Die Making, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience, preferably in mold manufacturing or industrial tooling.
• Practical experience in CNC Milling, with knowledge of EDM Wire Cut and EDM Sinker operations.
• Ability to create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs.
• Proficiency in Mastercam or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand dimensional tolerances.
• Familiarity with injection molds, mold components, and tooling maintenance.
• Experience with manual milling and lathe machines is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
