Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment seeks an experienced Cloudera Technical Architect to lead the design, governance, and optimization of a large-scale Enterprise Data Lakehouse. You will ensure scalability, security, and performance while guiding remediation and expansion initiatives.

The role requires deep CDP expertise, batch/streaming architectures, and collaboration with onsite and offshore teams to deliver a robust data platform for BFSI clients.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in Big Data and Data Platform tech.
• Experience designing enterprise data lakehouse architectures.
• Banking/BFSI or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Experience with onsite and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern CDP architecture aligned with enterprise Data Lakehouse standards.
• Define patterns for batch, streaming, and analytics workloads.
• Lead performance optimization across Spark, Hive, Impala, and YARN.
• Architect and support real-time data ingestion using Kafka and NiFi.
• Implement security controls using Ranger, Kerberos, encryption, and access governance.
• Review existing Cloudera implementations and drive remediation.
• Define monitoring, HA, DR, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure platform delivery.
