Job summary

TydaMail Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure cloud infrastructures powering our email and collaboration platforms.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and security teams to define architecture standards, migration strategies, and best‑practice guidelines for both internal services and customer deployments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or cloud-related field.
• 5+ years in cloud architecture, preferably SaaS/email/security.
• Certifications: AWS/Solution Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Strong knowledge of IaC, networking, IAM, encryption, and multi-tenant cloud security.
• Excellent English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) on leading platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support multi‑tenant email and messaging services.
• Develop migration roadmaps for existing on‑prem workloads to the cloud with minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Define and enforce security, compliance, and governance frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, SaudiCybersecurity Law).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC templates (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM), and automation scripts.
• Conduct performance, cost, and reliability assessments; implement optimization strategies.
• Provide technical guidance to developers, DevOps engineers, and support staff on cloud best practices.
• Liaise with customers and partners to understand requirements and deliver proofs-of-concept.
• Stay current with emerging cloud services, serverless technologies, and industry trends.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure cloud infrastructures that power our email and collaboration platforms. You will work closely with product, engineering, and security teams to define architecture standards, migration strategies, and best‑practice guidelines for both internal services and customer deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) on leading platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support multi‑tenant email and messaging services.
• Develop migration roadmaps for existing on‑premise workloads to the cloud, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Define and enforce security, compliance, and governance frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, SaudiCybersecurity Law) for cloud environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC templates (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM), and automation scripts to streamline provisioning and scaling.
• Conduct performance, cost, and reliability assessments; implement optimization strategies (auto‑scaling, right‑sizing, reserved instances).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, DevOps engineers, and support staff on cloud best practices.
• Liaise with customers and partners to understand requirements, create solution proposals, and deliver proof‑of‑concepts.
• Stay current with emerging cloud services, serverless technologies, and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5years of hands‑on cloud architecture/design experience, preferably in SaaS/email, secure messaging, or enterprise collaboration solutions.
• Certifications (required or strongly preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM). Strong understanding of networking, security groups, VPC/VNet design, IAM, and encryption mechanisms. Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE) and serverless platforms (Lambda, Functions). Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver) and cost‑management services.
• Analytical & Problem‑Solving: Ability to assess complex requirements and translate them into robust, scalable architectures.
• Communication: Excellent English (both written and verbal); Arabic proficiency is a plus. Ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with email infrastructure components (SMTP, IMAP/POP3, Exchange Online, Google Workspace) in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of compliance standards specific to the Saudi market (e.g., NCA, SADAD).
• Hands‑on scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and automated security testing.
