Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar role combining administration and stakeholder contact.
• Experience in an international company is preferred but not essential.
• Claims or insurance experience is preferred but not essential.
• Broad awareness of medical terminology is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong administration awareness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate across a diverse population and work independently or in a team.
• Good time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take receipt of submitted claim batches from providers and members.
• Log and file claims for tracking and processing.
• Scan and image hard-copy claims received.
• Plan operations and compile processing schedules for the Claims Team.
• Assemble processing batches and assign to team members.
• Update statuses in systems and trackers.
• Respond to inquiries from providers and members to finalize claims.
• Resolve inbound queries and maximize first-time contact resolution.
• Produce regular claims status reports as required.
