Job summary

The role requires 3–5 years of supervision experience, OSHA training, and ability to read blueprints. You will manage materials, liaise with subcontractors, and drive site performance through proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in construction management preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction supervision or related roles.
• OSHA certification or relevant safety training.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Site Management: Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with project plans.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular inspections.
• Quality Control: Monitor work quality and adherence to specifications.
• Material and Equipment Management: Oversee procurement and on-site use of materials and equipment.
• Communication and Reporting: Primary contact for project manager, subcontractors, and suppliers; provide updates.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues during operations in collaboration with the team.
• Working Relationships & Reporting: Report to Project Manager; coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Material and Equipment Management
  • Oversee the procurement and management of materials and equipment on-site.
  • Ensure that materials are used efficiently and stored properly.
• Communication and Reporting
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the project manager and subcontractors.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and resource needs.
• Problem-Solving
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction operations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to find solutions.
